Gazing Upon the Stars Anew is about a moment of self-awakening.

I can still remember looking up at the night sky as a child. In the adults’ eyes, I must have seemed like a silly child who was simply fooling around, but even then, I believed that I had the ability to "think", and to apply this power to some of life’s most polarizing questions. Looking into the dark, inky sky, its sense of distance and mystery usurped the vastness of my comprehension.

After having a child, seeing his sense of curiosity in exploring the world carried me back to an existence I had grown numb and indifferent to. Drawn by my maternal intuition, I watched as he gradually began to recognize the concepts of time and space, and contemplated the relationship between the weight of the soul and the existence of something beyond it. whispering together with my child in the darkness, we can fuse these fragmented images into dreams that gleam like the starlight, isn’t that so? This is a beautiful new world — a brave new world.

This is Re:Layers' 6th studio album, containing 9 tracks of art-pop and ambient relaxing music.
